ABOUT ME
I am a recent graduate of Washington State University’s Creative Media and Digital Culture Program. I graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Digital Technology and Culture with minors in English, Psychology and History. My focus in the program was project management where I developed strong leadership and communication skills that help me in both waterfall and agile environments. I enjoy practicing scrum, while also creating reasonable timelines with some slack built in to help my creatives with their iterative workflows.
While my focus was project management, I also have experience with 2D and 3D animation, coding, and Adobe products, all of which help me understand my team’s workflow and help me to prevent scope creep.
My previous job experiences aid me in relating and understanding group dynamics, as well as the individual. My psychology courses help me relate these for the purpose of assisting a company get the most out of the work environment. In the end, these make for a profitable business, which is of course the bottom line.
I spend my free time taking courses through Coursera for marketing and project management, and Khan Academy for lessons in animation and to stay knowledgeable in technology. I also enjoy playing with my four dogs, reading, and learning about the different varietals of wines from all over the world.
